Winter Meetings in Vermont
Trending Activities for your Next Winter Meeting
Vermont offers so many ways to explore the great outdoors and to add an out of the ordinary experience to your program.
The Land Rover Experience at the Equinox Resort & Spa is a unique way to reward your team and treat them to a truly exclusive encounter for meeting a goal or challenge (it's the only experience of it's kind in the Northeast).
Plan time for your attendees to kick back and have some fun at the end of a day of meetings. Groups meeting in the Burlington area can enjoy night skiing at nearby Bolton Valley Resort (available Tuesday-Friday evenings). Another really cool way to add in some bonding time for your participants is snow tubing. Who says kids have to have all the fun! Tubing is available at Okemo Mountain Resort, Killington Resort, Stratton Mountain Resort and Smuggler's Notch Resort.
Your group wants skiing and water activities? Jay Peak Resort offers the best of all worlds with the Pump House Indoor Water Park, with water slides, surfing otherwise known as flow riding, hot tubs and floating down the lazy river. There is also a new climbing gym and a movie theater, Clips and Reels available your attendees enjoyment.
You are charged with balancing activities for skiers and non skiers? At Killington Resort and Okemo Mountain Resort your attendees can still enjoy thrill of going fast down a mountain while remaining in total control on Killington's Beast Mountain Coaster and Okemo's Timber Ripper. These mountain coasters operate year round and are even more fun in a snowy environment.
One of the most unique ways to get out on the mountain is to experience a snowcat excursion. Some of our resort partners offer these unique trips to the top of the mountain for dinner while others offer a chance to go out for a tour or even with a groomer to see first hand what the mountain looks like at night. Resorts offering snow cat excursions include, Sugarbush Resort, Stratton Mountain Resort, Killington Resort and Okemo Mountain Resort.
Fat Biking is becoming more and more popular in Vermont and elsewhere. It is a fun way to enjoy being outside without any special skills. If you can ride a traditional bike you can enjoy riding through picturesque snowy Vermont trails and meadows. The wider tires give more traction enabling riders to go where traditional bikes can not. Fat biking is available at Burke Mountain Resort, (at nearby Kingdom Trails), Jay Peak Resort, Lodge at Spruce Peak, Woodstock Inn & Resort, as well as at Killington Resort, Okemo Mountain Resort, Stratton Mountain Resort and Sugarbush Resort.
Of course we can't forget about downhill or nordic skiing and snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and ice skating. All of these and more are available at a number of Vermont locations and the Vermont Convention Bureau is here to help you source and plan the right events for your program.
